Investment in Las Vegas, Nevada and Ponghu, Taiwan By David R. Scherer, Charlyne Chen (陳思庭), and Info21 Data Media Group*1Dear All: My skype Id is: info21cc online from 8-11 pm in Vegas or my cell 702-3535426 Info21 please contact my assistant in Shanghai office ALice 21-6236-2958 Investment in Vegas and Ponghu for you reference I will be back Taiwan on 7/20 Thanks!*2 *************************************************** Dear CHarlyne The topics for discussion are: 1. Condo Sales Project a. Providing some preliminary information and pictures to you for the condo project. b. What is your preliminary plan for how you will sell the condo units (working through real estate agencies in Taiwan, your own marketing, etc.)? =09 2. Penghu Land Sales a. Can you obtain a good map of the Penghu Islands? b. We need to show the location on a map for where Amazing Taiwan Company purchased their land. Following a discussion of how we will profit from a Penghu land sale transaction, I want to schedule a meeting with you and Governor Lai with Adi Simayof during his time in Las Vegas. Before that meeting we need to have a map of the Islands and discuss some available land purchase options. In addition, we need to understand how long the land purchase process will take as well as what type of legal company is required to purchase the land. =20 3. World Expo=20 a. I want to discuss with you in more detail my idea of how the World Expo Project can work in Las Vegas. I think that investors will be more likely to invest in the project if we have a preliminary building plan of the project in Las Vegas and some preliminary interest from Chinese businesses, as far as their businesses leasing in the project. Then, investors will see that the project has a reality. In the initial planning with the Las Vegas developer, I suggest that we discuss with the developer that a financial partnership be structured with the developer and the investors. I think that we need a strong developer in Las Vegas, who has a respected reputation and political influence, so as to make this project work on the local level. b. I suggest that we do not use a specific site at this point of the project, because while the basic building structure and appearance will remain the same, we may find better locations as time goes on. Therefore, the businesses and investors can be convinced of the value of the project without having to be committed to a specific location. The important aspect of the location is that the project is located in Las Vegas and has adequate proximity to the World Furniture Mart and the Convention Center. 4. Attorney =20 a. We need a good attorney in Las Vegas or California who is familiar with international law and possibly speaks Chinese. We can use this attorney for both the condos and the World Furniture Mart. Of course, additional attorneys will be used in Taiwan by the condo buyers and tenants and investors for the World Expo. 5. Feng Shui a. We need to discuss the appropriate Feng Shui Master for both the condo project and the World Expo. This Master needs to have the ability to be able to help us in Las Vegas. I look forward to discussing these matters with you on Monday.*3 David R. Scherer Senior Vice President --------------------------------------------- References *1.
