President's Message of WBTI for New Year's Day, 2008

Creative innovation and entrepreneurial spirit have been two scientific methodology and stratagems for the prosperity and development of information technology and business in America. The late Dr. Peter F. Drucker inspired us that: Innovation is very important. No good business can survive without successful innovation during a period of time! He emphazised the innovative marketing for businesses and institutions. With our Advisory Board and Faculty Members, we initiate, develop, and implement it together with the brilliance of Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Among the YouTub, Facebook, Wikipedia, and others, we have a difference. We help promote the visibility and popularlity locally, nationally, and internationally for people, cities, and projects. Everybody may like to share a wish and practice that, preparation plus opportunity can bring us a luck.

For a special institute like ours, the integration of ingenuity, entrepreneurship, integrity, and modern management is not asking for what we may get but for what we may influence. The influence has been positive and righteous to our people and communities.

For these fifteen years, it is our honor to assist U. S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao, Senator and Majority Leader of the U. S. Senate Harry Reid, and among others to become the great contemporary heroes in America.

Reid wbti, Chao wbti, Berkley wbti, Gibbons wbti, Gore wbti: Why Harry, Elaine, Shelley, Jim, and Al are so famous with WBTI? Ingenuity, innovation, integrity, and diligent work can bring us a miracle! Ans: (by a little girl and boy with a laptop computer under many beautiful palm trees beside the Sea of Galilee) "Ask Google, Yahoo, and MSN!"

[[[ 112707-8007 Tyrrell wbti: "The great Winston Churchill said, 'We all make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.' Tony, I know that you like to exemplify this inspiration same as it's my driving force by which I start out each day." ]]]

We all came to learn in America. With Harvard, Princeton, Pepperdine, and among others, we belong to a family of alumni associations. The angel came, influenced, and saved. She is the hero. A thing of peace with love is the joy of people on our beautiful earth!

To serve and help others with a gracious heart will bring us a lifetime happiness of learning!

In righteousness we shall be established. In this 21th Century new era and society, we need economic growth, but we also need to establish and promote creativity, fairness and Justice, serve and love, educational knowledge, and spirit engineering. We wish and affirm that a pure spring may prosper and enrich our splendid and golden country through: the elegant properties of freedom, democracy, entrepreneurship, and justice; the power of public service that based on 'Knowledge is the power of righteousness!'; the advancement of technology, innovation, and civilization; and the spirit that 'Knowledge calls, ultimately, for a life of service!'

Judy and I thank heartily the advice, contribution, and cooperation of all our Boards and Faculty members and Asian American Community. The sky is all beautiful in Nevada, California, and Texas today! Wish everybody a joyful, lucky, healthy, and prosperous future in these coming splendid and hopeful days!

Happy New Year!!!

President's 2007 New Year Message

"From now on, any definition of a successful life must include serving others," said 41st U. S. President George Bush. We certainly believe Alan Loy McGinnis that there is no more noble occupation in the world than to assit another human being---to help someone succeed. Management is nothing more than to motivating other individuals. We have put more emphasis on the power of positive praise. To lead is to serve, to give, and to achieve together with a sincere heart and love.

One of the functions of WBTI has a long times been to honor and celebrate the people and programs which may promote the quality of living for our residents and visitors of Nevada, California, and among others. The interstate perspectives of WBTI have brought with potentiality for the prosperity of more organiztions and people. We have recruited multi-media in English and Chinese to publish ou articles for many achieved and important individualas and projets. Our mutual cooperation and development between the officials and people will bring us a peaceful, happy, and healthy community.

The main mission of our organization is to encourage and promote academic research, community service, humane spirit, and educational programs.

During the past many years, our efforts have been extended to launch and participate events and projects for the development and cooperation of tourism, education, business, and culture.

The parallel practice of both the positive thinking and love in action through the skills with good personal traits such as enthusiam, belief, intellegence, creativity, judgment, liveliness, vision, courage, desire to excel, and persistence, will help people pursue rich, happier, and successful life. One of my philosophy of management for many years teaching in the Graduate School of Business Administration of National Chengchi University and National Chunghsing University was to enphasize "the reaching of peak management achievement through successful work performance both on good production and human relations." With also this value of administration, WBTI is launching for another hopeful year.

Washington Business and Technology Institute should be credited due to our remarkable leadership and our hardworking members. WBTI is neither made up of statues or fountains, nor landsacapes or waterscapes. Rather, WBTI is made up of actual hardworking and dedicated persons -- its faculty, advisory members, administrators and numerous friends and allies among the communities.

"Asian Pacific American have made profound contributions to American life, including the arts, economy, education, science, technology, politics, and sport. This community was here to help build trascontinental railroad, to serve in the Civil War, and to develop the latest Internet technology. I'm pleased to assure all you leaders of the community here today that I'll continue working to preserve and advance the heritage and value of Asian Americans. I'll put my effort to reach out and address issues of importance to the Asian American community, including the economy, education, safety, racial profiling, and hate crime, and immigration, among others. I'd like also to show my appreciation of all your accomplishments and contributions to the American way of life and your oustanding participation in the political, business , and educational processes. It's my pleasure to accept the honor as Professor of Administrative Strategies of the Graduate School of Business and Public Administration of Washington Business and Technology Institute," said Harry Reid, U. S. Senator and Assistant Democratic Leader (now Majority Leader) of the U. S. Senate at Asian American Leaders Tea with United States Senator Harry Reid on May 31, 2003 at Korean Garden B. B. Q. House in Las Vegas.

Though our resources were limited, we have innovated and encouraged good idea for program and event to improve the quality of life of all our residents and visitors of Nevada and California. United we stand, not just for our Asian Community only but for all our people and nation as a whole. Asian Community has won recognition for contribution to Nevada and California by American Mainstream. The main reason for this recognition is the great and cooperative wisdom and effort that the Asian communities have continuously participated and offered to the mainstream society.

Wish you a Happy New Year!

President's 2006 New Year Message

Whether you are man or woman, each of us have the instinct to travel. We live in this world for a good purpose, not "to have and to hold", but "to give and to serve others." We help others as if we need to continue to pay rent for our time here on earth. Those who "pay rent" by serving those in need of our assistance, are the individuals who are indeed most happy and at peace.

Since being established on January 8, 1996, the distringuished officers and members of the Washington Business and Technology Institute (WBTI) have persevered with a fiery spirit to serve its purpose in helping the community. We have endured and weathered many obstacles, and miraculously we have survived and grown into a strong organization.

WBTI formulated and implemented several important projects in 2005. WBTI also assisted several associations and organizations in planning and conducting successful parties and events. This is evidenced by the more than 12 awards and proclamations received from the State of Nevada, Clark County, U. S. Senators and Congressmen and other high-ranking members of the community.

Innovation is the key to success. Managers are constantly searching the globe for new ideas. Modern companies view information and technology (IT) as a major competitive differentiator. Strategic businesses emphasize the use of information technology for effective management. International companies develop their global IT platforms by integrating hardware, software and Internet-based network architecture worldwide. Commuunication technology, such as teleconferencing and computer networks, are making it possible for people from subsidiaries around the world to work together on a single project or multiple projects.

Many business are becoming global and moving toward transnational e-business strategies in which they
integrate the worldwide business activities between their subsidiaries and headquarters. In the coming year, 2006, WBTI will continue to monitor and promote further innovative activities in the international business arena.

Washington Business and Technology Institute should be credited due to our remarkable leadership and our hardworking members. WBTI is neither made up of statues or fountains, nor landsacapes or waterscapes. Rather, WBTI is made up of actual hardworking and dedicated persons -- its faculty, advisory members, administrators and numerous friends and allies within the community.

Many thanks to the Las Vegas Review-Journal for providing WBTI with a website so that we can continue to communicate easily and expeditiously. You're on Google.com and Google.cn, if you're on Washington
Business and Technology Institute's website (http://communitylink.reviewjournal.com/lvrj/wbti)" [WBTI]. Google.com and Google.cn are published approximately every ten days for most of the sections of this website.

For many years, one of WBTI's most important functions is to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of certain individuals. In 2005, we have had the pleasure to honor several individuals who have made outstanding accomplishments in many special fields.

President Dr. Andrew K. Benton of Pepperdine University inspired us by the following: "Reaching up, reaching
beyond, always pressing forward; this is the passion of the human spirit." We are certainly being challenged! At the beginging of this splendid year, I wish everybody success in their endeavors, prosperity, good health and a happy life!
