Seniors United Will Advance with Modern Management and Service Above Self
By Dr. Tony T. Lei

While President Lillian Wallace of Seniors United has been long time identified as a strong person, she used to mention her adoration of her passing husband, Julian. Her memorable event extended to the evening on May 14 of this year. She and her husband were invited by me and my wife, Judy to the famous Guadalajara Restaurant of Texas Casino and Hotel for a celebration of Mother's Day. With the best quality of food and noble atmosphere, the first lady of Seniors United enjoyed a very happy and memorable treat made possible by my thoughtfulness and generosity. Julian's joyful and talk away appearance during the party was all the time vividly impressed upon us since that dinner of reunion as a family. I and my wife have worked sincerely and contributingly for Seniors United, because we respect their valuable spirit and idea to work for the benefits of Nevadan seniors through education.
The progress and development of Seniors United, since I was elected as its Executive Vice President in February, has been recognized and applauded by a great deal of people affiliated with this organization. It is primarily dedicated to the service of the political education for all our Nevadan seniors. This has greatly increased the popularity and reputation of Seniors United as an important and influential organization both for improving seniors' benefits and voting governement officials through educational activities and media like the Forum and Highlights Magazine. It was under the efforts of the Wallaces, CEO and President, and my dedication, together with all the executive board members, Seniors United has played an oustanding role in offering opportunities both for candidates for public service to deliver their constructive ideas and for the seniors in Nevada to recongnize how to make their right choice of voting.
With my expertise and integrity as a famous professor of management, as evidenced by my writing college text books on management, presenting research papers to renowned international conferences, I have enjoyed the distinctive mission with philanthrophy and realized some of the good purposes and creeds of this organization through many years of accomplishment with knowledge, talents, and experiences on effective management and educational technology balanced with theoreticality and practicality.
By the act of love itself, we are enriched. Love in action is service above self. Make service a part of our characters and experience the abundant reward that comes from serving others. I am one of the persons who glorify and thank the Almighty and believe we trust that God will be with those who honor Him. If a window was closed, God might re-open the window or even open a door for the people who is eager to utilize his or her knowledge and expertise to serve. Power in politics should have a direction that power based on knowledge is the power of righteousness. We wish that a pure fountain may prosper and enrich our splendid and golden country through the spirit that knowledge calls, ultimately, for a life of service. The great Winston Churchill said that we all make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. In God we trust. As I am marching to the team of seniors, life will be delightful for the purpose to serve our seniors and lovely society.
After my wife and I had enjoyed a trip to Tucson, Arizona on November 14- 17 through the Senior Tripsters, Inc., we are resumed with engery to serve again our seniors. We shall have a nice celebrating party for Christmas with good entertainment. We invite heartfeltly all our members and friends to join us a joyful reunion.
Wish you a Merry Christimas and a Happy New Year!
