Bud Cranor Honors Executive Director of Pan Pacific and Asian American Forum with Cultural Award

Dr. John Wang, Spokesman of Washington Business and Technology Institute (WBTI) announced on January 25, 2002:
"Bud Cranor, Director of Nevada Governor Kenny Guinn's Office in Las Vegas, was honored as Executive Director of Pan Pacific and Asian American Forum (PPAAF) on December 27, 2001 by WBTI. He has been presented with an Award of bronzed Beauty Statute from Thai Cultural Arts Association of Las Vegas (TCAALV) by Dr. Tony Lei on January 18, 2002 at the Gee Joon Chinese Restaurant of Horseshoe Casino and Hotel, Las Vegas.
Dr. Cora Mulliro, Owner of Desert Accident and Injury Center, came to congratulate Bud with a respectful hug in the dinner party treated by WBTI for the celebration. Famous Professor of UNLV and Director of Public Administration Institution of WBTI Dr. William Thompson and his wife will also come to dine on January 28, 2002 with Dr. and Mrs. Lei in Gee Joon for the celebration. PPAAF was established by WBTI web (http:// communitylink.reviewjournal.com/lvrj/wbti) which is brought to you by Las Vegas Review-Joural and Lasvegas.com to pay a special tribute to U. S. Secretary Honorable Elaine Chao on September 28, 2001. Governor of Nevada Honorable Kenny Guinn has been honored as the Chairman. Besides Judge Jessie Walsh and Dr. Cora Murillo, two more outstanding ladies hve been carefully elected by WBTI to enhance Bud's work performance under his leadership. District Judge Cheryl Moss and Dr. An-pyng Sun were appointed as Associate Executive Director and Assistant Executive Director of the Forum by WBTI on January 22, 2002. The Forum also will hold its 'First Pan Pacific and Asian American International Concert' at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Event Center in Las Vegas next Spring. The international Event and Cultural Concert will be presented by State of Nevada, WBTI, and 1NetBroadcast Inc. U. S. Senator John Ensign, U. S. Congresswoman Shelley Berkley, and Governor of the State of Nevada Kenny Guinn are Chairpersons of the Event. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo of the Republic of Philippines and professional leaders of several field of expertise from many countries will attend the event. We expect about 5,000 people who will participate in the concert. The whole program will be produced for a TV show that is expected to reach 100 million famillies all around the world.
Assemblywoman Merle Berman and Assemblywoman Candidate Francis Allen invited Dr. Lei to Carson Coffee Shop of Golden Nugget Casino and Hotel on December 19, 2001. They consulted him on his knowledge of business innovation and enterpreneurship. The faculty of WBTI joined Dr. and Mrs. Lei to appreciate with pleasure that both ladies followed sincerely many high ranking officials of Nevada in signing the recommendation to honor U. S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao as Chairperson of Washington Business and Technology Institute."
As the Director of Nevada Manufacturing Research Center of UNLV, Dr. Wang is also the Advisor of the Student and Scholar Association of UNLV. He has received great encouragement by the Ambassador and General Counselor Offices of
China to the United States for their participation of the Event.
