群 魔 飛 舞 談 禽 色 變

唬 人 的 禽 流 感 肆 虐 已 到 了 鋪 天 蓋 地 ， 醫 學 界 、 學 術 界 和 專 家 們 也 都 統 一 了 口 徑 ， 及 至 美 國 總 統 布 希 也 都 宣 布 撥 出 七 十 一 億 美 元 做 為 防 禽 基 金 。
看 來 這 場 人 間 的 災 難 是 〝 劫 〞 定 了 ， 不 過 讓 人 們 不 解 的 是 在 眾 說 紛 紛 中 的 那 份 恐 怖 真 實 性 到 底 有 多 少 ？
記 得 每 年 每 季 所 發 生 的 流 行 性 感 冒 ， 也 都 有 死 亡 的 紀 錄 ， 何 以 時 下 這 個 時 魔 的 禽 流 感 就 被 形 容 的 如 此 可 怕 ！
多 年 來 我 有 因 應 流 行 性 感 冒 的 經 驗 ， 那 就 是 先 吃 藥 後 打 針 ， 在 仍 不 覺 見 效 時 ， 再 以 多 喝 水 多 睡 覺 也 都 撐 過 了 這 麼 多 年 ， 相 信 如 今 再 面 對 禽 流 感 用 古 法 泡 製 再 應 對 ， 也 不 知 致 於 會 淪 落 到 非 死 的 結 局 不 可 。
不 過 生 活 是 現 實 的 ， 現 在 在 賭 城 討 生 活 又 不 得 不 多 一 個 顧 慮 。
禽 流 感 是 大 家 的 話 題 ， 防 禽 如 何 亦 才 是 重 點 ， 飽 學 之 士 彼 多 建 議 ， 如 同 天 上 的 病 禽 ， 愈 扯 愈 可 怕 ， 甚 至 更 愈 遠 離 重 點 ， 有 的 說 殺 禽 ， 有 的 說 防 禽 ， 局 然 還 有 人 建 議 〝 封 路 封 城 〞 以 求 自 保 。
試 問 ， 賭 城 的 存 活 是 全 靠 外 來 客 人 的 施 捨 ， 一 旦 全 〝 封 〞 了 ， 請 問 那 以 後 的 日 子 該 怎 麼 過 。 〔 尤 君 達 攝 影 報 導 〕

Asian American communitiy had been united together to hold an event and dinner party successfully to honor U. S. Senator Harry Reid. More than 384 against the 250 planned individuals of government officials, business owners and executives, organizational leaders among others attended the party at the Asia Palace Chinese Restaurant on August 24, 2001. Kenote Speaker was U.S. Senator Harry Reid. Guests of Honor presented were: U. S. Senator John Ensign (by Sonia Joya), U. S. Congresswoman Shelley Berkley, U. S. Congressman Jim Gibbons (by Judith Ray), and Nevada Attorney General Frankie Sue Del Papa. U. S. Congresswoman Shelley Berkley introduced Senator Harry Reid to the public with his successfully story to be the greatest political leader of Nevada arsing from the son of an ordinary family of mining worker. The first time as an honorable Master of Ceremony for Asian American community, Shelley' attractiveness and talent are really professional. She has been famous of her arts of leading on social activities since her college life. "On behalf of Washington Business and Technology Institute, I'm glad to be one of the Chairmen of this Event and Dinner Party for a Special Tribute to U.S. Senator Harry Reid. Following a successful tribute party to Nevada Supreme Court Justice Nancy Becker, this Event is an united efforts of all our Asian American Community. Thanks to Dr. Raj Chanderraz, Dr. R. D. Prabha, Dr. Ram Singh, Mr. Tonie Sison, and Ms. Rita Vaswani to join me as Chairpersons. Thanks to all our guests of honor, special guests, hosts, guests, and participants. Thanks to Dr. Peter Lok as our wonderful Coordinator and Ms. Nancy Diaz to initiate the plan of this event with me. Finnally, we, Asian Americans have put all our effort and wisdom together to have this Special Tribute to our U. S. Senator Harry Reid, because Harry is our great hero to build a community where this and future generations will have more opportunities and advantages to live a prosperous life," spoke Dr. Tony Lei, the Chairman of the event and dinner party.

According to the prepared introduction by Congresswoman Shelley Berkley to the Party, "Dr. Tony Lei is the President of Washington Business and Technology Institute (WBTI) and Chairman of Chinese American Academic Association of Nevada (CAAAN). He received his M.B.A. and Doctor of Education in Institutional Management degrees from Pepperdine University in 1969 and 1980, respectively. He had been an Associate Professor of Information Management and a Fellow of Management of the Graduate School of Business Administration of National Chung Hsing University and Pepperdine University from 1985 to 1991 and 1991 to 1996, respectively. He has completed numerous scientific papers, text books, best selling books, and research projects during past 30 years in universities and academic institutes. Dr. Tony Lei's famous publications "Modern Business Management", "Information Management", "Management Behavior", among others have been adopted by many colleges and universities as text books."
