different raceWednesday, June 29, 2011 9:24 AMFrom: "John Kerry" [info@johnkerry.com]Add sender to ContactsTo: "Friend Friend" Hello Friend, If your inbox is anything like mine, you抳e been flooded with emails the last few days asking you to give to really important races across the country. But today I hope you抣l make time to help in a race that抯 completely different, a battle that抯 incredibly important to all of us as Americans. This race doesn't belong to an election cycle because everyone has a stake in the fight against cancer. It抯 deeply personal. For my family, it抯 something we抳e been facing anew over the last year and a half when Teresa was diagnosed with breast cancer and took it head-on with grace and with great care. We抮e not alone -- for all of us, this disease is personal and helping those who are working towards a cure is once again important to me as I prepare to ride in my 9th Pan Mass Challenge, the annual 110 mile bike ride that raises money for cancer research and treatment. Please join me by contributing to the fight against cancer. Your donation will support the Jimmy Fund, the nation抯 premier foundation dedicated to funding cancer treatment and research. Because of the dedication of millions of people like you who contribute each year, cancer diagnoses that used to be a death sentence can now be treated and in some cases cured. And treatment options are becoming ever more varied, with new, less invasive options discovered. We抮e making progress, but we still have a long way to go, and we need to keep pushing to save more lives. So many of you have been generous in the past when I抳e asked you to consider rolling up your sleeves for this cause -- and I hope you will consider supporting my ride once again by making a contribution to the Jimmy Fund. Please make a donation today. Thanks so much for your consideration. Together we can keep making a difference. I am convinced we can soon minimize some cancers, perhaps have vaccinations against some and certainly reduce the scourge we experience today. Please help us to do that. Sincerely, John Kerry -------------------------------------------- ******************************************** | |

By Mark Denton, Jessie Walsh, Cheryl Moss, and Tiffany Chang ***** "Every memorable act in the history of the world is a triumph of enthusiasm. Nothing great was ever achieved without it because it gives any challenge or any occupation, no matter how frightening or difficult, a new meaning. Without enthusiasm you are doomed to a life of mediocrity but with it you can accomplish miracles." ---Og Mandino (1923-1996, Speaker and Author) One of the main three missions of Washington Business and Technology Institute (WBTI) is community service. She has been famous of her arts of leading on social activities since her college life. "On behalf of Washington Business and Technology Institute, I'm glad to be one of the Chairmen of this Event and Dinner Party for a Special Tribute to U.S. Senator Harry Reid. Deadline: ThursdaySaturday, June 25, 2011 11:52 AM From: "Jim Messina, BarackObama.com" [info@barackobama.com]View contact detailsTo: "tony lei" Tony -- June 30th at 11:59 p.m. is the first big deadline of this campaign. At that moment, we'll close the books on this financial quarter and begin preparing our fundraising report to the Federal Election Commission, the press, and the public. Our opponents are chasing Washington lobbyists and special-interest PACs for big checks ahead of the deadline. To them, and to most of the pundits, campaigns are all about how many millions of dollars each candidate can raise. We disagree. Of course we have a budget and financial goals. But we believe that the true strength of our campaign is the number of everyday people owning a piece of it. So we refuse money from Washington lobbyists and special-interest PACs. And rather than setting a goal of millions of dollars, we're setting a goal of 450,000 people owning a piece of this campaign by the June 30th deadline. This report will serve as the definitive record of who was there to build this campaign from the very start, and you should be part of it. Please donate $5 or whatever you can afford and help us hit our goal: https://donate.barackobama.com/Deadline A lot of people out there are wondering whether this campaign can inspire the kind of grassroots support that has been the foundation of our success. A lot of people out there are already saying we can't. So we've got something to prove. What happens between now and Thursday will shape the story of how the 2012 race began. Help write that story with a donation of $5 or more here: https://donate.barackobama.com/Deadline Thanks, Messina Jim Messina Campaign Manager Obama for America P.S. -- This Thursday also marks the end of the Dinner with Barack contest. When you give, you're automatically entered for a chance to win.
