The Graziadio School Successfully Launched the Diamond Anniversary Challenge
In anticipation of Pepperdine s 75th anniversary, the Graziadio School launched the Diamond Anniversary Challenge from March 1 to May 14. The goal was to raise 375 gifts in 75 days to help advance the school for the next 75 years. Thanks to the loyal support of so many alumni, the Graziadio School surpassed that number with 486 gifts! All those who participated in the Diamond Challenge are recognized through an online honor roll with a special thank you from Dean Linda Livingstone, and those who signed up as Executive Associates received special recognition at the 35th annual Associates Dinner at L.A. Festival of Arts, Laguna Beach, CAwill begin with a private reception at Tivoli Terrace, followed by a three-course meal. Browse stunning art exhibits, meet local artists at the Festival of Arts, and then experience 90 minutes of captivating "living pictures" accompanied by a live orchestra. Cost: main tier center row and dinner $145 per person or main tier left and dinner $125 per person. Register.

Become a Member of the Fulfillment Fund's Leadership Council
The Fulfillment Fund is looking for Leadership Council members. The Leadership Council exists to support the perpetuation of the Fulfillment Fund and its mission through advocacy, service, and fundraising. Members of the Leadership Council serve as ambassadors in the community, marketing the organization to a new generation, and generating financial, volunteer, and in-kind resources on behalf of our students. Reading to Kids
Saturday, June 11, 2011; 9 a.m. - noon
Los Angeles, CA
Join Carole Mason-Stark (MA ?8) by volunteering your time at Reading to Kids. They organize monthly reading clubs on the second Saturday of every month at seven downtown Los Angeles elementary schools. Pairs of volunteer readers read aloud to small groups of students from the elementary school (typically between four and six children per group) in a fun environment. Teachers at the elementary school provide supervision and guidance throughout the morning. To volunteer at the next reading, please register.

Two Pepperdine student-athletes, Matt Brown of men s water polo and Martine de Gannes of women s golf, were named to CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District teams recently. More... Are you looking for an exciting way to share your experiences with future teachers? Are you interested in reconnecting to Pepperdine but don t exactly know how? If so, GSEP is seeking alumni who are interested in returning to participate in future panel discussions on secondary education. If you are currently teaching or working as an administrator in a high school, we would love for you to share your insights on the field of education during this time. The panel discussion entitled, "All Things Secondary," is a great way to get reconnected with GSEP and to share your experiences with future teachers. If you would like to be a part of either one of these events, please contact Dr. Jean Marie Hamilton-Boone or call the Office of Alumni Relations at (310) 568-5510 for more information.
