Rock Square founder and Seaver College alumnus, Paul Scharfe ('99), is preparing to launch the only online marketplace and social network platform devoted to all things Rock N'Roll. At the core of Rock Square s social commerce offering is a feature-rich marketplace. Fall Season Recap
Three Pepperdine teams concluded the season with national top ten rankings: the women s volleyball team won the WCC title and advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament, the women s soccer team also won a WCC crown and made the NCAA Tournament, and the men s water polo team ended up eighth in the national rankings.

Basketball Season Heats Up and Men s Volleyball Season Gets Underway
Firestone Fieldhouse is the place to be in the month of January as a total of 13 home events are on the calendar! The men s and women s basketball teams compete in the first half of their West Coast Conference seasons, while the always anticipated men s volleyball season also begins. For tickets, please contact the Athletics Box Office at (866) WAVE-TIX or, for men s basketball, go to www.Ticketmaster.com.
Women's Basketball Game
Alumni and their families receive complimentary tickets to the Pepperdine women s basketball game vs. Gonzaga. Also, join us for a pre-game chalk talk in the Jones Trophy Room. The fourth annual Pepperdine Career Week, open to all Pepperdine University students and alumni, offers a series of activities and programs for students preparing to make the transition from classroom to career and alumni seeking a competitive advantage in the workplace.
Events will occur over five days at five Pepperdine campuses across Southern California as well as online sessions. All events are no charge, unless otherwise indicated.

Waves of Service Video Contest
Waves of Service continues to celebrate Pepperdine s 75th Anniversary with special January prizes for its Video Contest! Submit a video of Waves completing a service project during the holiday season and you could win a March vacation package - including a night's stay for two at the Villa Graziadio Executive Center in Malibu, dinner and golf for two at the Malibu Country Club, and two tickets to "An Evening with Bruce Hornsby" at the Center for the Arts! Submit videos by January 11 for a chance to win this incredible package! Regular monthly cash prizes and grand prizes up to $1,000 will continue through August 2012. Videos can highlight your community service or work at a nonprofit organization.
