Candidate ProfilesThe following individuals have expressed an interest in serving as a board member of the South Shores Community Association and are being presented to you for your consideration. Dr. Tony Lei I wish to serve as a Board member because: Directors who are good in management knowledge and experience will do better with the Homeowners Association Company to promote the work performance for the rights and benefits of our homeowners. With many years as an Associate Professor and Fellow of Management of the Graduate School of Business Administration of National Chung Hsing University and Pepperdine University, I will use my knowledge to serve our community. Ive worked with institutions such as Nevadan U. S. I will use my experience to work for our homeowners and residents. I received my M.B.A. and Ed.D. in Institutional Management from Pepperdine University, Malibu, California, but my knowledge and experience will be also important for me to service our community together with my sincere and humble personal traits. My goals for the Association are: I will offer my experience, knowledge, and ability to uphold the rights and benefits of the homeowners and residents here in our community. I'll work to motivate both the good production and human relations on the work performance of our Association and the Management Company which we, the homeowners, are paying service fees to support. Other information I wish to share: Ive worked for our community more than 18 years based on the belief that 'By the act of love itself, we are enriched. Love in action is service above self. Make service a part of our character and experience the abundant reward that comes from serving others. Let our heroes be the great servants who have given all for the betterment of others' lives. Let our candle fuel a fire that will fan out an ever-increasing circles. With these circles together we can close our eyes and evision a community that is safe, peaceful, and healthy. We need people like him to work for our community," said a District Judge of our Family Court. I love the atmosphere and environment here, and I especially love the people in our community. We should expect our Association and Management Company to help our community be of our homeowners, by our homeowners, and for our homeowners. I am a member in good standing. Gary Lein I wish to serve as a Board member because: I have accounting experience in the association industry, and want to share that knowledge with the association. My Goals for the Association are: To maintain the financial health of our association and to enforce the CC&Rs to protect our property values I am a member in good standing. My accounting firm provides audit and tax services to some of the associations managed by Terra West. Scott Magee I wish to serve as a Board member because: I am intent on preserving the uniqueness and quality of life South Shores has given my wife and I over the past several years. During my previous terms, Ive taken the lead role on several projects including the new signage throughout our community, initiating the evening patrol service, and helping design our upgraded landscaping ?all without raising quarterly assessments. My Goals for the Association are: To continue improving South Shores in order to create a niche community within Las Vegas. This will attract high quality homeowners and raise property values well above adjacent areas. I am a member in good standing. -------------------------------------------- ******************************************** | |
