Waterbury 短宣後見證 7/31/2010 高方中 感謝神！為期一週的Waterbury短宣已告落幕，記得從Waterbury回來，飛機剛抵達DFW機場，坐在機艙裏，心中仍回味著短宣前後的點點滴滴，不住的向主發出感恩。 記得從去年底就開始選教材，今年三月開始每個主日由Jeff弟兄來訓練我們，縱使今年報名參加短宣的人數比去年少許多，神卻讓我看見祂的信實和豐富供應。回想去年的短宣，自己是照著教材編教學內容，今年則透過Jeff弟兄的指導，幫助我們能活化教學內容，更多的引發孩子們學習的興趣，使孩子們有印象深刻的學習。除了每個主日的訓練，週間還在牧師家與錫安、James Gu演練，加深了團隊的默契與合一順服的心，也奠定實際教課時胸有成竹。記得在Waterbury時，James Gu曾問我：「排練了這麼長時間，課堂上一下子就完成了。」他這麼說讓我想到〝台上三分鐘，台下十年工〞這話一點不假。我就對James說：「沒錯！看來是教課一下就教完了，但若沒有這三個月的訓練加上演練，是不可能如此順利完成的。」James聽了直點頭。說實在，是團隊合一的心，讓我們能彼此互補，完成此行的任務。 感謝Pastor Maner在教課的第一天就對我們的提醒，他要我們學習在一片混亂之中仍然保有一顆平靜安穩的心，這份平安唯有從主的寶座而來。因著他的提醒，每當孩子們近乎失控時，心中便提醒自己，也為這些孩子禱告，求主讓這些孩子們能因著來到Waterbury得見神的愛，被主的愛所觸摸。 整個短宣過程，看見青少年個個負責、賣力、耐心的教課及認真的打掃，牧師用心並不辭辛勞的照料大家的飲食起居，總是讓大家先享用，師母和幾位姊妹一同協助牧師準備伙食，整個團隊彼此互相照應，就像是一家人。記得Pastor Maner所勉勵的，這兒不是我們的家，我們有一天要回到永遠的家鄉。不要只是讓身體一天天的毀壞，要趁著有氣息的年日，為主所用(to be used by God)。 深信天父此刻正微笑看著我們，我彷彿聽見天父在對我們說：「忠心的僕人！你們盡忠心作在Waterbury孩子們的身上，就等於是作在我的身上。」懇求主繼續祝福Waterbury的同工與事工，也謝謝主給我們此次機會完成主所託付的使命。

短宣後見證 Sandy Ting July 30, 2010 神的應許及恩典, 把每個孩子平安的帶回來了, 我有著一身的疲憊及不適, 回家了! 靜下心來思想一生有多少的恩典? 今年再次的看到一年不見的孩子, 有的長高, 長大, 有的更乖了. 也有些不認識的孩子. 有的讓人憐愛, 有的讓人不知所措, 帶著起初的熱情, 短短的7 天行程5 天的課程, 卻在幾堂課後, 身體的不適, 心情沮喪而自問, 我在這裡做甚麼? 因求好心切的挫折感及課程的忙亂, 將 “愛” 丟在一邊, 口裡, 心中都是批評別人或抱怨孩子的話語, 卻忘了來到這裡應有的態度是 “服事” 不是 “做事” 因事情人人會做, 事情總是讓人忙碌沒有喜樂, 此行似乎沒有時間與心情去享受並愛這些孩子! 再次回想這些孩子的笑臉是無辜是可愛的! … 繼續閱讀 →
