"My intellectual interest is the contact zone, where conflicts occur and solutions are sought, where identity is challenged and performed. I focus on intercultural exchanges along the Pacific Rim, especially intersections between Asians and Asian Americans and negotiations between Asian and non-Asian cultures.

"I challenge students to open their minds, to think critically and globally. I have actively participated in the international discourse on performance and have published and given talks on premodern Chinese drama, Asian American theatre, Chinese immigrant theatre and intercultural theatre, both in English and in Chinese. I also serve on the advisory board of Asian American Theatre Company (AATC, San Francisco)."

Dr. Daphne Lei wrote Washington Business and Technology Institute (WBTI) that, "The other thing can be my upcoming book--Operatic China: Staging Chinese Identity Across the Pacific (Palgrave Macmillan, 2006). *5

Vision through integrity, wisdom, and work may lead people to the road for a bright future!

***** "Luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity." --- Oprah Winfrey

"Every memorable act in the history of the world is a triumph of enthusiasm. Nothing great was ever achieved without it because it gives any challenge or any occupation, no matter how frightening or difficult, a new meaning. Without enthusiasm you are doomed to a life of mediocrity but with it you can accomplish miracles," quoted Og Mandino (1923-1996), a speaker and author. Vision through integrity, wisdom, and work may lead people to the road for a bright future!*1

Rome was not built in a day, it was built with a vision. 'I am proud to lead an institution with such a rich and storied past. Harvard began in colonial days with a handful of students, little property and limited power and prestige, but a determined mission: "To advance Learning and perpetuate it to Posterity," as a 1643 brochure put it. That bold vision has guided Harvard for the past four centuries and made it the world-leading center of discovery and learning that it is today,' pointed out Dr. Drew Gilpin Faust in her message. As one of the most influential martial artist of the 20th century, Bruce Lee's movie "Enter the Dragon" (1973) was one of the films that brought the genre into mainstream Western acceptance. Through his performances and by his world-wide fame, Bruce helped popularize Wing Chun, the martial art that he originally trained in, and Jeet Kune Do, the martial art that he later created based on Wing Chun mixed with other styles.

Scratch the surface of Hong Kong's rich culture and heritage and you'll be amazed at the diversity.

It is impressive for the Hong Kong Tourism Board to memtion that, "Culture and heritage is what sets Hong Kong apart from the rest of Asia ¨C indeed the world. Hong Kong is a unique fusion of Eastern and Western cultures where the old and the new live side by side. Its incense-filled temples, glass-and-steel skyscrapers and noisy festivals have made Hong Kong the premier tourist destination in Asia." Many people around the world for visiting and traveling are attracted by these features.

The writer pointed out the sixth significance of Hong Kong that, "ÒâÁxÁù£ºÏã¸Û ÊdzÇÊÐÎÄ»¯ÅcàlÍÁÎÄ»¯Èںϳɹ¦µÄ°ñ˜Ó¡£ÎÒ‚ƒ³£ÕfÈAÑóësÌŽ£¬ÔÚÏã¸Û²»ÊÇÈAÑóësÌŽ£¬¶øÊÇÈAÑó¹²ÌŽ,Ï໥×ðÖØ,¹²´æ¹²˜s,¸÷×Ô¶¼Äܱ£´æ×Ô¼ºµÄÌØÐÔ..Ïã¸Ûß@‚€µØ·½ºÜÓÐÒâ˼,ÄãÕfËü¶àÑó,Ëü¾Í¶àÑó£¬ÄãÕfËü¶àÍÁ,Ëü¾Í¶àÍÁ¡£½ñÌìÔçÉÏ£¬ÎÒµ½ÁËÓÍÂéµØÌìºó¹ÅR£¬ÔڏRÇ°VˆöºÍRáá¾Åýˆ±ÚºÍ÷Ìm¾ÕÖñʯµñ¸½½üÉ¢²½,¿´µ½ºÜ¶àÀÏÌ«Ì«ÔÚŸýÏã¡¢°Ý·ð,Ò²ÓÐÈËÔÚËãÃü,¸úÎÒ‚ƒÖÐÍÁµÄÁ•Ëס¢·Õ‡úÍêÈ«Ò»˜Ó.¹Å´úµÄ¡¸µäÕÂÖƶȡ¹Ïã¸Û½y½y±£Áôρí.ÎÒ‚ƒÔÚ¾S¶àÀû†¸Û߀¿É¿´µ½ô®´¬¸úÊÀ½çµÄ´óÑó ´¬Kñ{¶øÐÐ,¶øÔÚÏÄÌì¿É¿´µ½ÀÏÌ«Ì«´©·Ç³£›ö¿ìµÄÏãë…¼†Ò·þ,¬FÔÚ½ÖÉÏ߀ÙIµÃµ½.ÐÂÄï×ÓëmÈ»´©°×É«¶Y·þÅeÐлé¶Y,µ½ÁËÍíÉϾ͕þ´©ÉϼtͮͮµÄ´ó¼t¹Ó×Ó,ϯég¹ò°ÝµùÄ﹫ÆŶY”µÒ»˜Ó²»ÉÙ,ß@²ÅÊÇÖЇøµÄÐÂÄï!ÔÚÏã¸Û,½y½y±£ÁôÁË:¿´ÏàµÄ¡¢³ª‘òµÄ¡¢ŸýÏãµÄ¡¢°Ý·ðµÄ¡¢´òÌ«˜OÈŠÉíµÄ¡£ÎÒ°l¬FÏã¸ÛµÄRÓîºÜ¶à£¬×ù×ùRò‰Ñ‡À£¬Ï㟟¿À@½y¶¼±£ÁôÁË¡£Ñó¡¢ÍÁ´îÅäµÃß@˜ÓºÃ£¬¿ÉÒԁKÐв»ã££¬¿ÉÒÔÏ໥ÝxÓ³£¬ß@ÊÇ×öµÃ×îºÃµÄÒ»‚€°ñ˜Ó¡£" *12

It is a pleasure for more people to participate and recognize those outstanding individuals, groups, or projects which enrich the lives of many in our communities. John Keats said that, "A thing of beauty is a joy forever." The sky is shinning on the Harbor of Pearl!

(2nd Edition) The memory and floral tributes to U. S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao's mother Mrs. Ruth Mu-lan Chu Chao (ÖìľÌm)
By Mark Denton, Valerie Weber, Cheryl Moss, and Tiffany Chang

***** Life is meant to be a never-ending education, and when this is fully appreciated, we are no longer survivors but adventurers. ---David McNally, Even Eagles Need a Push

The originality of this article was published in this section on August 5, 2007.*1 The Advisory Board and faculty members join with President Dr. Tony Lei of WBTI in mourning its Chairperson Elaine Chao's mother Mrs. Ruth Chu Chao and praying for her and the family heartfeltly.

"Dear Dr. Lei, Very sorry to hear the sad news. I made a few grammatical and spelling changes below. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Judge Moss," wrote Nevada District Court Judge Cheryl Moss to Washington Business and Technology Intstitute (WBTI) early in the morning on August 7, 2007 (Tue, 7 Aug 2007 05:58:44 -0700) in Las Vegas, Nevada.*2

Judy and Tony were very sad to learn yesterday (8/04/07) evening that U. S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao's mother Mrs. Ruth Mu-lan Chu Chao passed away in the afternoon on August 2, 2007. President George Bush called Elaine's family twice. In comforting, George reminded her father Dr. James S. C. Chao, Chairman of Foremost Group that, "Elaine is the one who serves the longest time as a Secretary of U. S. Department."

According to Elaine's mouring message to the passing of her mother, she respects her mother Ruth as "a noble and eternal wife, a selfless and offering mother, a philanthropist full of love, and an Asian culture scholar."

"From the difficult years after mariage to raise several daughters, thorugh her courage, diligence, and accomplishment to receive her master degree, until the development and prosperity of their family, U. S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao's mother Mrs. Ruth Mu-lan Chu Chao had a life of success. Ruth was a successful family educator and an achieved Asian culture scholar. 'Like mother, like daughter.' Ealine's wisdom, inguinty, and achievement as a leading Asian American public charater have been derived from her mother's heartily love and offering influence. Judy and I were mourning and praying for Elaine's mother Ruth heartfeltly. Our sincere hearts and prayers go out also to James, Elaine, Mitch (Elaine's husband, The Honorable Mitch McConnell, U. S. Senate Minority Leader), Jeannette, May, Christine, Grace, Angela, the family, and their friends," wrote President Dr. Tony Lei of WBTI a mourning and praying e-mail to Chairperson Elaine Chao in the early morning on August 5, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"Vision seems to be an elusive yet import life principle. Your vision describes the ideal future for you to attain. It provides meaning and direction while forcing you to break through present limitations. Holding a clear picture in your mind of the desired future will mobilize your creative efforts and generate the desire and energy to perform," edited Glenn Ekeren in his book.*4 The bright vision and offering love extended from Ruth to her children had built a sound foundation for the outstanding accomplishments in each of their special professionalism.

"Thank you," wrote Nevada Supreme Court Justice Michael Douglas to WBTI.*9 Enjoying with general popularity, the achieved intellectual has been many years our good friend to participate and contribute the mutual cooperation and development for Asian and American endeavors. "One of the most important integrity and work of Washington Business and Technology Institute (WBTI) to our people, high-ranking officials, and communities is its many feature articles posted by publications through the leading search engines promptly. As an Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Business and Public Administration of WBTI, it's my hornor to join its Professor of Administrative Strategies U. S. Senator Harry Reid (now the Majority Leader of U. S. Senate) and its Chairperson Elaine Chao, U. S. Nothing great was ever achieved without it because it gives any challenge or any occupation, no matter how frightening or difficult, a new meaning. Without enthusiasm you are doomed to a life of mediocrity but with it you can accomplish miracles." ---Og Mandino (1923-1996, Speaker and Author)*13

Helping Nevada's students improve in math and science
I am also very pleased to announce the President has agreed to sign this bill (America COMPETES Act) on Thursday!
By Harry M. Reid*1

Dear Friends,

As Nevada's students and teachers prepare to go back to school, I'm working to make sure they have the tools to be successful.*2

I introduced and led the passage of the America Creating Opportunities to Meaningfully Promote Excellence in Technology, Education, and Science Act (America COMPETES Act). I am also very pleased to announce the President has agreed to sign this bill on Thursday.

The America COMPETES Act ensures that our country will retain its competitive position in the world through improvements to math and science education and a strong commitment to research and technology.

The Act follows through on my commitment to ensure Nevada's students, teachers, businesses and workers are prepared to continue leading the world in innovation, research, and technology -- well into the future.

It is essential that our students and teachers have the resources to be successful and this bill will help us achieve that.*3

Best regards,

Senator Harry Reid

*1. About U. S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid: U. S. Senator Harry M. Reid is the Democratic Leader (the Majority Leader) in the U. S. Senate. He is a man who commands the respect of colleagues from both parties, and a powerful advocate for Nevada¡¯s middle-class families.
But he still lives in Searchlight ¡ and he is still guided by the lessons and values he learned there.
The Las Vegas Sun newspaper summarized Reid¡¯s story by saying that he ¡¡ãhas gone from underdog to Senate¡¯s top dog.¡¡?Parade Magazine, the nation¡¯s largest weekly magazine, identified Senator Reid as one of a handful of leaders in Washington with ¡¡ãintegrity and guts.¡¡?
Since Nevadans elected him to the Senate in 1986, Harry Reid has developed a reputation as a consensus builder and a skillful legislator. Even his Republican colleagues praise his reasoned, balanced approach.
Senate Judiciary Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) has said, ¡¡ãWe all respect Senator Reid. He is one of the moderate voices around here who tries to get things to work.¡¡?
And former GOP Leader Trent Lott said, ¡¡ãHarry Reid is out there finding a solution. I enjoy working with him very much.¡¡?
He was elected to the Senate in 1986, and re-elected in 1992, 1998 and 2004. He has served as the chairman or senior Democratic member on several important committees and subcommittees.
Reid is a tireless worker, and it isn¡¯t unusual for him to be the first Senator of either party to arrive at the Capitol in the morning and the last to go home at night.

U. S. Senator John Kerry, former U. S. Vice President Al Gore, Nevada, and WBTI by the leading search engines on Internet!
By Jennifer Kung

***** "A book is a sucess when people who haven't read it pretend they have." --- Los Angeles Times Syndicate

U. S. Senator John Kerry wrote us several times recently. The most significant feature article for him in this section was published on June 3, 2007. It was "Our Moment -- Our Movement! Together, we can create a better tomorrow for our Earth if we seize this vital moment" by former U. S. Vice President Al Gore.*1 We are suprised to receive the following press release from his office since it is especially for people in Henderson and Las Vegas:

[[[ We're making progress in our fight to get a new direction in Iraq, but we need more Republicans to support a true change in policy. People like Jon Porter need to know that we won't stand for his continued support for escalation without end in Iraq.

So I thought I'd write and let you know about efforts in Henderson put on by some of our friends from Americans Against the Escalation in Iraq. If you have some time tomorrow and will be in Henderson (or can get there!), please consider helping them out. Let Jon Porter know how important this issue will be in your vote next year.

Here's the information on the events:

Congressman Jon Porter to "Feel the Heat" for Iraq Stance at Welcome Home Rally
Outraged constituents to greet Porter as he Returns to Nevada for August Recess
Who: Las Vegas Out of Iraq Coalition, Concerned Citizens, and Americans Against Escalation in Iraq
What: Welcome Home Rally for Rep. Jon Porter
Where: Congressman Jon Porter's Office
~{`.`.`.`.`.~} 2470 St. Rose Pkwy
~{`.`.`.`.`.~} Henderson, NV 89074
When: Wed, August 8, 2007 @ 10:00 a.m.

I'm encouraged by some of the developments recently; we're changing the debate on the war. But we've still got to get votes for a real change in policy from folks like Jon Porter We need to demand action.

Thanks,

Brian

"Leadership is love through integrity! To lead is to serve, to give, and to achieve together. Love with value is based on a real, practical, and genuine spirit concern for others as persons, for their values as they feel them, for their development and growth. A successful leader is consistently follwed by others. People follow because they have a belief in the direction, intergrity, and competence of the one leading. The memory and floral tributes to U. S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao's mother Mrs. Ruth Mu-lan Chu Chao
By Cheryl Moss, and Tiffany Chang

The original article was published in this section on August 5, 2007.*8

"Dear Dr. Lei, Very sorry to hear the sad news. I made a few grammatical and spelling changes below. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Judge Moss," wrote Nevada District Court Judge Cheryl Moss to Washington Business and Technology Intstitute (WBTI) early in the morning on August 7, 2007 (Tue, 7 Aug 2007 05:58:44 -0700) in Las Vegas, Nevada.*9

***** Life is meant to be a never-ending education, and when this is fully appreciated, we are no longer survivors but adventurers. ---David McNally, Even Eagles Need a Push

Judy and Tony were very sad to learn yesterday evening that U.

Elaine respects her mother Ruth as "a noble and eternal wife, a selfless and offering mother, a philanthropist full of love, and an Asian culture scholar." (From Elaine's mouring paragraph to her mother.)

Our sincere heart and prayers go out also to James, Elaine, U. S. Senator Mitch McConnell, Xiao-mei, Xiao-pu, Xiao-ting, Angela, the family, and their friends," wrote President Dr. Tony Lei of WBTI a mourning and praying e-mail to Chairperson Elaine Chao in the early morning on August 5, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It provides meaning and direction while forcing you to break through present limitations. Holding a clear picture in your mind of the desired future will mobilize your creative efforts and generate the desire and energy to perform," edited Glenn Ekeren in his book.*2 The bright vision and offering love extended from Ruth to her children had built a sound foundation for the outstanding accomplishments in each of their special professionalism.

"Six essential qualities that are keys to success: Sincerity, Personal Integrity, Humility, Courtesy, Wisdom, Charity, " quoted Dr. William Menninger. Ruth owned each and every of these personal traits. Elaine said that her mother was good in writing. The following was an literary article written by Ruth when she was very young. With its nice description, the article was published by the School Periodical at her elementary school year: "ÎҏÄС..." *7

We are humble, but we are encouraged. Thanks. Searching the leading search engines from early morning yesterday until now, we could find that this feature article by WBTI through the communitylink of Las Vegas Review-Journal is the first one on the most recent news about U. The memory and floral tributes to U. S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao's mother Mrs. Ruth Mu-lan Chu Chao (ÖìľÌm)
By Tiffany Chang
***** Life is meant to be a never-ending education, and when this is fully appreciated, we are no longer survivors but adventurers. ---David McNally, Even Eagles Need a Push

Judy and Tony were very sad to learn yesterday evening that U. S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao's mother Mrs. Ruth Mu-lan Chu Chao (ÖìľÌm) passed away in the afternoon on August 2, 2007. President George Bush called Elaine's family twice. In comforting, George reminded her father Dr. James S. C. Chao, Chairman of Foremost Group that, "Elaine is the one who serves the longest time as a Secretary of U. S. Department."

Elaine respects her mother Ruth as "a noble and eternal wife, a selfless and offering mother, a philanthropist full of love, and an Asian culture scholar." (From Elaine's mouring paragraph to her mother.)

"Vision seems to be an elusive yet import life principle. Your vision describes the ideal future for you to attain. It provides meaning and direction while forcing you to break through present limitations.

Elaine said that her mother was good in writing. The following was an literary article written by Ruth when she was very young. We are humble, but we are encouraged. Thanks. Searching the leading search engines from early morning yesterday until now, we could find that this feature article by WBTI through the communitylink of Las Vegas Review-Journal is the first one on the most recent news about U. S. Secretary Elaine Chao's mother in English appeared on the Internet.

Your kind thoughts and prayers are appreciated and may send to the Secretary of U. S. Department of Labor in Washington, D.C. or Dr. James S. C. Chao, Chairman of Foremost Group in New York, as reminded by Elaine.

Wish the soul of Ruth in heaven is respectfuly mourned, the family of her survived ones are highly blessed, and the elegant funeral ceremony is in good planning!

Talking With Nevadans on the Tour
Now, as governor, I have the ability to bring state government to the people!
By James A. Gibbons

The northern leg of my state tour is now complete. Over the past week, many of Nevada¡¯s cabinet members, members of my staff and I took our state government to the people of rural Nevada. Department of Agriculture Director Donna Rise, Department of Wildlife Director Ken Mayer, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Director Allen Biaggi, Department of Business and Industry Director Mendy Elliott and Department of Health and Human Services Director Mike Willden accompanied me for much of the tour. We saw firsthand the issues faced by rural Nevadans, and we listened to their concerns.

[[[ Noting that mining is Nevada's second largest industry, we toured Round Mountain Mine and met with miners. ]]]

[[[ State Entomologist Jeff Knight gave us a briefing on this year¡¯s Mormon cricket infestation during a stop in Eureka. ]]]

[[[ In Ely, we saw just how close jurors sit to defendants in the White Pine County Courthouse. I would like our legislators to see this as well, to understand the importance of state funding that will provide courtroom safety for the people who use this building. ]]]

At the Interagency Dispatch Center in Elko, where firefighters have been dispatched to manage blazes covering thousands of acres, we spoke of federal land management issues and listened to ranchers whose livelihood has been threatened by this year¡¯s fires.

During my ten years of service to Nevadans in Congress, I learned the importance of accessibility and letting people bring their issues to their elected officials. Now, as governor, I have the ability to bring state government to the people. The northern leg of our summer tour was a great success. The lessons we learned will lead to better policy, better management and better service to the people we serve. Now we start planning our southern Nevada tour for September.

"Articles of WBTI's website (http://communitylink.reviewjournal.com/lvrj/wbti) for community service through the publication by the leading search engines have been achieved for many years. To serve our community with the spirit of love is an inspiration. Their vision and enthusiasm are significant!" said Michael Douglas, Justice of Nevada Supreme Court.*9

Michael Douglas, Valerie Weber, Cheryl Moss, and Tiffany Chang said that, "Brilliant, Google and Yahoo answer our people, community, and country!

Wish the Directorship Magazine~{!/~}s 2007 Annual Boardroom Forum a great success!

"Founded on the core values of integrity, stewardship, courage, and compassion, Pepperdine University¡¯s Graziadio School of Business and Management has been developing values-centered leaders for contemporary business practice since 1969. Our portfolio of fully accredited MBA and bachelor¡¯s completion business programs provide personalized attention in an intimate setting, emphasis on applied and relevant business practices, and the convenience of six campus locations throughout Southern California. "Many people believe that progress is most easily measured by metrics. Numbers don't lie, they say. I would agree, but numbers reveal only part of the story. So as this academic year ends, I invite you to evaluate for yourself some of the good work that has been accomplished by our students and faculty over the past few months," wrote President Dr. Andrew K. Benton of Pepperdine University in his message on "Pepperdine People". It was sent to President Dr. Tony T. Lei of WBTI on June 21, 2007 from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.*11

"I've been inspired by Dr. Linda Livingstone's vision and work performance on implementing values-centered leaders and international perspectives. Leadership is love through integrity! To lead is to serve, to give, and to achieve together. Love with value is based on a real, practical, and genuine spirit concern for others as persons, for their values as they feel them, for their development and growth. The elegance of leadership in education is signified by serve and love. Under her initiative all the way from academic programs, alumni enphases, through international perspectives, I with my guest Nevada District Judge Mark Denton could experience her popularity and ingenuity at a dinner party by her for Pepperdine University's alumni and friends in Las Vegas. It's our pleasure to join the School in congratulating Dean Livingstone's advanced commitment and endeavor," pointed out U. S. Congresswoman Shelley Berkley's Senior Advisor Dr. Tony T. Lei early in the morning on August 3, 2007 in Las Vega, Nevada.*12

More kind thoughts and prayers for the passing away of Nevada state Senator Dina Titus' father Joe Titus
A greater thing is to fight life through and say at the end, the dream is true!
By Tiffany Chang

***** "Ah, great it is to believe the dream as we stand in youth by the starry stream; but a greater thing is to fight life through and say at the end, the dream is true!" ---Edwin Markham

"The passing away of Dina's father is really a very sad news, but he has implemented and achieved his glory fight in life. Judy and I were heartily and deeply mourning and praying for Dina's father Joe. Our sincere hearts and prayers go out also to Betty, Dina, Rho, the family, and their friends," said President Dr. Tony Lei of WBTI in the early morning on August 2, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The e-mail about "Dina's father, Joe Titus, passed away" from Annette Magnus, Assistant to Nevada Senate Minority Leader Dina Titus to WBTI was received on July 24, 2007.

As we were waiting for "There will be a memorial service in Las Vegas ... You will receive a notice when the date and place are set" written in her mail, this article has been held until today. Hope there will be more responses to Annette's "The family has asked that you not send flowers; your kind thoughts and prayers will be more than sufficient to help them through."

'For memory of "Papa Joe" Titus, we have prepared a place in the Blog section for you to leave messages and share stories to be given to the family regarding the passing of Dina's father, Joe Titus. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers,' stated the Dina Titus' website.*1

There are 72 comments (kind thoughts and prayers) on Dina's Blog at 8:01 early in the morning on August 2, 2007. The following are the first (1) and most recent (72) ones:

Dina,
Last night my parents and I saw you, Mrs. Betty, Rho and Tom at Bowen Donaldson Funeral Home. My mom used to work with Mr. Joe at London Grill in Tifton, Ga. and we have known your parents every since. He will be sorely missed. Know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers!!! For community service and concern, it is our sincerity to post the following information:

"Dear Tony, I'm saddened to inform you that Dina's father, Joe Titus, passed away early this morning. He was at home, where he died peacefully in his sleep. As many of you know, he had been ill since January but recently was making good progress in rehabilitation. Joe, or "Papa Joe" as he was known in the campaign, will be buried in Tifton, Georgia. There will be a memorial service in Las Vegas, probably in September. You will receive a notice when the date and place are set," wrote Annette Magnus.*2

We are mourning for the passing of Dina's father Joe. Annette reminded us that, "Please keep Betty, Dina and Rho in your hearts during this trying time. The family has asked that you not send flowers; your kind thoughts and prayers will be more than sufficient to help them through. We have prepared an article on www.dinatitus.com in the Blog section where you can leave messages you would like given to the family." *3

A report by Ed Voel of the Review-Journal Capital Bureau entitled "State Sen. Dina Titus' father, Joe, dies at 76" was published by the daily Las Vegas Reiew-Journal. It was posted on the "News" of Reviewjournal.com on July 25, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

'Joe Titus was 76. He served 16 years as director of the building and safety department for the city of Henderson before his retirement several years ago. "He was a son of the South," Dina Titus said about her father. "He could tell a story better than anyone." Joe Titus encouraged his daughter, ...,' wrote Reporter Ed Voel.*4

Dina was in proud of her father Joe Titus' accomplishment in his career life.

The Reporter mentioned also that, 'During his time as the building department director in Henderson, Joe Titus "oversaw the tremendous growth" of the city, Dina Titus said.' *5

We wish the memorial service in Las Vegas, probably in September a great significance!

Wonderful, famous rivers and canyons with attractive scenery!

The traveling article entitled "¡¶ÂÃß[¡·°¢ÀË¹¼ÓÏļ¾Ö®ÂÃ" by Writer “PÐÀ is impressive as a literature. It was posted on the 'ÂÃß[Ö¸ÄÏ' of Worldjournal.com.

Alaska is beautiful. "To the lover of wilderness, Alaska is one of the most wonderful countries in the world," quoted John Muir.

The colorful picture shown with the article by the writer about "±±ÃÀµÚÒ»¸ß·åûœ½ðÀû·å±ùÇåÓñ¡¢ÓºÈÝÈAÙF" is attractive!

According to “PÐÀ, "Denali‡ø¼Ò¹«ˆ@Êǵ½°¢ÀË¹¼ÓµÄ±Øß[Ö®µØ£¬¹«ˆ@Ãæ·e±ÈµÂ¿ËË_˹ÖÝ£¨Texas£©ß€´ó¡£µ½ÄÇÑeÖ÷ÒªÊÇ¿´ûœ½ðÀû·åºÍÒ°Éú„ÓÎï¡£°²¿ËÀÖε½Denali‡ø¼Ò¹«ˆ@¼s240Ó¢Àһ·ÉÏË{Ìì°×ë…£¬Ñ©·åßB¾d£¬…²ÁÖïÃÜ£¬õr»¨ôYØW¡£ßh·½µÄûœ½ðÀû·å£¨Mt. Lots of pictures about these places may be searched from the Internet. "We soon look below on a fine lake [Wonder Lake], ... The outlet of this lake discharges into Moose Creek. Before reaching the top of the mountain ... Soon after starting again we caught glimpses of snowy peaks toward the south, and when we reached the top, Denali and the Alaska Range suddenly burst into view ahead, apparently very near," quoted 'The Wilderness of Denali' by the CJJT's Notes, quotes and thoughts.

“PÐÀ pointed out the 'Ïñ½^´úÃÀÈË ™M¿Õ³öÊÀ' that, "Kantishna Tour¿vÉˆ@92Ó¢Àí»Ø13С•r¡£ßMɽµÄÍÁ·ʮ·Öº†Âª£¬ÑØÖø‘ÒÑÂòêÑÑÈëɽ¡£Æû܇ñ‚ß^‰mÍÁïw“P¡£Óöµ½Ç°·½í܇¶¼Òª¶Y׌£¬Ë¾™C»¥ÏàÕÐÊÖÖÂÒâ¡£ß[¿Í‚ƒÒ»ßMɽ¾ÍŒ¤ÕÒûœ½ðÀû·å£¬ÓÉì¶É½·åÖدB£¬„‚ßMɽ•r¿´²»Çåȫò£¬¸ü¶à•rºòËüÓÖ±»ë…ìF¿À@£¬ÏñÃ漆ÝpÉw¡£Ü‡µ½Wonder Lakeͣϣ¬ÑÛÇ°»íÈ»é_ÀÊ£¬áݏ·ËùÓеÄɽ·åÇͱÚÏòááÍËë[£¬ûœ½ðÀû·åÏñһλ½^´úÃÀÈË™M¿Õ³öÊÀ£¬ËüÊÇÄǘӵıùÇåÓñ¡¢ÓºÈÝÈAÙF¡£ÆäÙ»Ó°µ¹Ó³ÔÚWonder Lake ºþÃæÉÏ£¬×ŒÈËÕæÕýówòžµ½ºþ¹âɽɫµÄÃÀ¾³¡£"

It is valuable! Can we also share with some finding from American Poet Wallace Stevens? He said that, "Perhaps the truth depends on a walk around the lake."

On traveling, we may inspired by the natural scenes. The following quotes may also bring us with some philosophy of life:

"When the river is deepest it makes least noise." ---Proverb

"What makes a river so restful to people is that it doesn't have any doubt - it is sure to get where it is going, and it doesn't want to go anywhere else." ---Hal Boyle

"If my ship sails from sight, it doesn't mean my journey ends, it simply means the river bends." ---John Enoch Powell

The art of life depends critically on wisdom, knowledge, and resources. The extra enjoyment of a touring or traveling may be derived from our good planning and nice implementation.
