"Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan and U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Henry M. Paulson Tuesday held telephone talks Friday over the deadly earthquake in China's southwestern Sichuan province. Mei's Ensemble Concert Series ---Rose Han's Student Singing and performaning Concert (I) was held at Prairie Greek Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas on May 17, 2008. The singers were Emily Lan Mei, Eva Renn ('Yu-hua Jen' in Chinese translation), and Meng-pei Hu. Pianist was Mei-en Chou while the violinist was Melody Jiang. They sang songs like "Ridente la calma", "Che faro senza Euridice", "O mio babbino caro", and among others individually.
"Our purpose of this concert is to motivate, lift up, and develop the enjoyment of opera and the level of quality of performaning in the DFW area. In oder to study and communicate with music favors and choir organizations, we'll do it more publicly. We're looking forward to launch a great one in the coming September!" talked Artistic Director Rose Han to a writer, Tiffany Chang, of the Communitylink (WBTI's Website) of Reviewjournal.com.

Pianist Mei-en Chou came to study in America from Taiwan. She graduated from Taiwan Normal University in Taipei. "Miss Mei-en Chou has just received her Master Degree recently in Texas," introduced Artistic Director Rose Han about the Pianist during the Concert. She is young and ingenius.

What is etiquette anyway? Webster's Encyclopedic Unabridged Dictionary of the English Language says: "conventional requirements as to social behavior; proprieties of conduct as established in any class or community or for any occasion."
What is graciousness anyway? Webster's again: "disposed to show grace or favor; kind: benevolent; courteous." Yes, yes, yes! We can all do that! We can become kind, benevolent and courteous and it will help us in life! It will pave the way to our success and happiness! I can envision a society where people care about each other and treat each other with graciousness.
I believe so strongly that all social and business situations are about graciousness that I've made it my mission to help as many people as possible to put their best foot forward graciously. I think everyone agrees that having social skills will make us better people, give us more confidence and keep us better connected.
One sure way to learn about social etiquette is try not to make the same mistakes as others. According to a recent study conducted by The Protocol School of Palm Beach, the following are America抯 top 10 etiquette pet peeves:
People who make slurping, smacking or clicking noises while eating.
People who conduct private conversations during a meeting.
People who talk on their cell phones in meetings or restaurants.
People who send unsolicited jokes, photos or chain letters over the Internet.
People who constantly interrupt before others have finished talking.
People who don't 抰 cover their mouths when coughing, sneezing or yawning.
People who begin eating before everyone at their table has been served.
People who pick their teeth with their fingers or with a toothpick at the table.
