VIIII. Postive Celebration and Aspiration!

A day to celebrate and aspire!
By Barack H. Obama

Dear All,

This weekend, our family will join millions of others in celebrating America. We will enjoy the glow of fireworks, the taste of barbeque, and the company of good friends. As we all celebrate this weekend, let's also remember the remarkable story that led to this day.*901

***** "....... ... ." ---??? *1007

Two hundred and thirty-three years ago, our nation was born when a courageous group of patriots pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to the proposition that all of us were created equal.*902

Our country began as a unique experiment in liberty -- a bold, evolving quest to achieve a more perfect union. And in every generation, another courageous group of patriots has taken us one step closer to fully realizing the dream our founders enshrined on that great day.

***** "....... ... ." ---??? *1008

Today, all Americans have a hard-fought birthright to a freedom which enables each of us, no matter our views or background, to help set our nation's course. America's greatness has always depended on her citizens embracing that freedom -- and fulfilling the duty that comes with it.

As free people, we must each take the challenges and opportunities that face this nation as our own. As long as some Americans still must struggle, none of us can be fully content. And as America comes ever closer to achieving the perfect Union our founders dreamed, that triumph -- that pride -- belongs to all of us.

So today is a day to reflect on our independence, and the sacrifice of our troops standing in harm's way to preserve and protect it. It is a day to celebrate all that America is. And today is a time to aspire toward all we can still become.*903

With very best wishes,

President Barack Obama

VII. Core principles we share with people everywhere!

Have a wonderful 4th of July!
By Hillary R. Clinton

Dear All,

Hello everyone. I am delighted to welcome you on behalf of President Obama and the people of the United States as we celebrate our nation~{!/~}s 233rd birthday.*107

For Americans, the 4th of July is a day to reconnect with loved ones, to remember our history, and to renew our commitment to democracy, tolerance, and justice. As President Obama said in Cairo last month, these are not just American values, these are core principles we share with people everywhere. So it is fitting that we open our doors and share this day with our friends and neighbors around the world.

Our fates and our fortunes are intertwined like never before. No one nation can meet today~{!/~}s global challenges alone. We all share responsibility for working together to ensure a more peaceful and prosperous future.

So I hope that today~{!/~}s celebration will become tomorrow~{!/~}s partnership. There~{!/~}s nothing we can~{!/~}t accomplish, no challenge we can~{!/~}t meet, if we work together toward common goals and seek common ground.

Thank you so much for joining us and have a wonderful 4th of July.

Hillary R. Clinton
U.S. Secretary of State

Dear Tony,

Happy Independence Day!

At the Nevada State Democratic Party, we are proud to celebrate our nation抯 birth, and the ideals on which it was founded; ideals for which we fight every day. We are so fortunate to have great Democratic elected officials in Nevada who work hard every day to advance our values. From Senator Harry Reid and Congresswomen Shelley Berkley and Dina Titus to our statewide officers, legislators, county commissioners, and municipal office-holders, we have a great deal to be proud of.*8101

***** "....... ... ." ---??? *168

We have so much to do in the coming year to elect and re-elect Democrats. In 2009, we haven抰 rested on the great victories of 2008. Instead, we have worked to harness all the energy from last year抯 elections and focus it on 2010. We have retained organizers to recruit, train, and retain volunteer leaders down to the precinct level. We know that times are difficult, but we must continue building and growing our party this year so that we can return Harry Reid to the Senate, re-elect Congresswoman Titus and Congresswoman Berkley, elect a Democratic governor, re-elect our state constitutional officers, and grow our state legislative majorities. I hope that this Independence Day, you will consider a contribution to the Nevada State Democratic Party.*8201

***** "....... ... ." ---??? *2168

CONTRIBUTE HERE

Your generous contribution will help us continue our early organizing, maintain our voter registration advantage, and train local volunteer leaders. We cannot rest on our past victories for a moment梬e must plan for next year抯 campaign now.

CONTRIBUTE HERE

I wish the happiest of Independence Days to all of you and your families! *8203

Sincerely,

(Autograph)
Sam Lieberman
Chairman, Nevada State Democratic Party
